• The Authentic Safari Schedule: To guarantee the best game viewing and allow contingency daylight for travel, expect some early starts and long, yet rewarding, driving days. The sheer excitement of seeing your first lion or rhino at dawn will quickly make that early alarm worth it!

Participation & Preparedness

• Hands-On Team Adventure: This is a fully participatory trip. Team spirit is vital, as you will be hands-on with camp setup, purchasing provisions, cooking, and cleaning. Making new friends and sharing the work is central to the shared experience.

• Embrace the Bush Basics: Some of our most exclusive remote camps may have basic or no facilities. You will need to use vehicle water tanks for washing and a "bush toilet." We see this as a small price to pay for the privilege of experiencing a truly untamed corner of the world.

• Vehicle Contingency: While our support vehicles are maintained to the highest standard, private vehicles may encounter issues from the rough terrain. Breakdowns and delays are a possibility, but we operate a firm 'no vehicle gets left behind' policy, ensuring the group remains cohesive and supported.

• The African Reality: Remember: "This is Africa!" Expect the unexpected—a sudden river in flood, a route closed by heavy rains, or the need to change plans at the last minute.
